Characters open for Recognition, Lifemates, Love- or Furmate

So, you want to search for a mate for your character? Here you can find a list of characters that are open for Recognition, Lifemates, Lovemates or Furmates.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVEMATES, LIFEMATES, AND SOULMATES –
AND WHERE DOES RECOGNITION FIT IN (IF AT ALL)?
Lovemates (can be two or more elves) join for pleasure. In today’s terms, they’d be friends with benefits, no strings attached. Lifemates (can also be two or more) make the choice to form a family group (for want of a better term) that is long lasting, though not necessarily carved in stone. Soulmates are those elves who, for one of two reasons, have gone to the deepest level of sharing, and exchanged soul names. This is a very committed bond. Soulmates are often lifemates, though lifemates don’t have to be soulmates. Soul names can be exchanged by choice (Redlance and Nightfall), or by Recognition (Cutter and Leetah). Because Recognition exists only to ensure reproduction, a Recognized male and a female elf may know each other’s soul name, but once a child has been conceived, there is no rule stating the two must remain together, or even friends (Dewshine and Tyldak).
WHAT, THEN, IS RECOGNITION?
In simplest terms, Recognition is a primal, nearly irresistible mating urge between two elves. On a deep and subconscious level, even if they don’t or can’t “send”, all elves are telepathic. So every elf, unconsciously, knows every other elf’s innermost (genetic) makeup. When a female and a male get within range of each other (“eyes meet eyes”) and the mix of qualities is right for a cub that will benefit the tribe (or the entire elf race), an instinctual command to mate bursts powerfully into each elf’s awareness (“soul meets soul”). Instantly, each elf knows the entire secret inner self of the other. The urge is so strong that if it is denied, the afflicted pair will feel dire physical effects. Recognition is not love at first sight; love has nothing to do with it. In time, the Recognized couple may come to love each other (as Leetah and Cutter did), but there’s no guarantee.
CAN RECOGNITION OCCUR BETWEEN TWO ELVES OF THE SAME SEX?
Only in the sense that the pair can voluntarily exchange soul names, and forge for themselves a deep bond. It is sometimes said they have “taken Recognition for themselves.” But it is not Recognition in the truest definition of the word, which is purely biological and procreative.

If you want your character to find a mate, post the names of your characters here and if needed a preference to which gender or maybe both. Your character must be 16y and older or we can't approve your character for mating!
In case of Recognition you could add if one has a Lovemate already, but is "willing" to Recognize someone else.
Once you have posted you can search for a good mate, contact that character to ask if he/she is interested and discuss which type of mate you could be.
Feeling like a gambler? Then you can add to your character that we can randomly assign a mate, usually this only works with Recognition, but if there are too many potential mates, then this is an option too

At the moment, I have three available males:
SUMMERBREEZE: This will have to be a Recognition, as the poor boy, despite being a healer, just is totally naïve and rather oblivious to romance and intimacy (excluding sending and what he needs to do to heal you). Despite his age, he's never had a mate and never thought of it. He really doesn't even regard anyone in that manner; they're all his packmates. An aggressive female would confuse and scare him. Then you'd have Safara to deal with.
THARKÛN: Available, however he's not really one for furmates. For him, he regards a mate as something more meaningful and longterm (not necessarily permanent, though). It's not impossible, but it'll take a female and a special circumstance to randomly join for him.
SKIRNIR: Pending approval. Available for anything. He's a GoBack through and through; if you're female and available, so is he; anytime, anywhere, single, groups - bring it on! Not shy about it, either; has no trouble taking charge and dragging you to the bushes. After all, survive, create a fawn to leave behind, die in battle. What could be better?
Anyone interested in setting something up, just let me know. Doesn't even have to be mate related, maybe a mentor, friend, ally, enemy (Jaegertalon really HATES Summerbreeze, but then, he pretty much hates everybody). Jaegertalon might be available, but I need to check with Janett on that one. I THINK at one time she wanted to pair him with one of hers. Poor girl...poor holt...
For the time being, Moonstone might appreciate a furmate for the time being, not ready for Recognition as yet.
Hyakurin is enjoying the furs with Oakroot right now but would be open to anything and anyone if the time was right. But at the moment she's going to be pretty loyal to him... she would also be open for recognition later on when she is a bit older I think.
*snerks* Jareth wouldn't mind a good tumble here and there. He could be available for recognition BUT he is not most definitely ready for a child yet. Lifemates and lovemates he MIGHT be open to that depends on the circumstances or arrangements there is...
Wolfpath is in for casual furmates, lovemating. Lifemating is not something she'd easily choose, probably only when she recognizes.
OK Tide don't have much exp with fur mates,love mates or any other involvement,with opposite sex or same sex so I guess she would be available for a first in counter or something along those lines?
