In a few weeks we hope to get started with the new storyline, our search for a new home.
As most will know this will be Crossing Paths Holt and just to refresh your memories, this will happen on a, for us, NEW forum.
So you need to transfer your characters to the CPH-forum to be able to continue our RP's. To save time I'd like to ask that you do this in next couple of weeks, this way the mods of CPH (I am one of them) will have enough time to asses each CIS so it fits the Holt.
Also I like to ask you to read their guidelines to create a character carefully, because they are different from ours.
If you need help please pm me and we will look at it together.

-How will this work?
Well, Ocean's Edge had already decided to leave the Two Towers Area and wanted to search for a new Holt. The idea was to settle in a secluded cove far from Humans and hopefully dangerous Trolls!
The other Holt, called Crossing Paths Holt, is situated in a simular cove, slightly larger, instead of a 5 days walk from one end to the other, it is a 7 to 9 days walk. So there is plenty of room for another Holt.
Because that is the plan, we won't join Crossing Paths (CPH) and loose Ocean's Edge Holt (OEH), instead we will live side-by-side with them, interact with them when we can, while keeping our own story/ Holt.
-The plan?
Okay, CPH had already planned for a 2 year timejump, which would be perfect for us. Today (in Holt Time) we flee from our Holt. We will search for a new Home and try different places, some Elves will travel by land, others by sea, the choice is yours. But none of the places will suit us ofcourse, untill we reach CPH.
Our journey will take 2 years and we will join the RP there when CPH has made the Timejump, not sooner. This also gives us time to RP more and perhaps end some.
-But what will happen to our own forum?
Good question! Ofcourse this forum will stay open, updates in the storyline will be done each time something big has happend. But it will be more as a reference than a very active forum.
-Can we still RP here?
Well, the merger is happening because the activity here has been very slow, so to do some RP's here would be strange and would make the merger useless.
The RP's will stay here, But we will close the Ocean Edge RolePlayboard.
This means no new RolPlaystories can be started and you can't reply on the excisting ones anymore.
No worries! It won't be today, but it will be soon though.
-What does that mean for our excisting RP's?
I have been so bold to copy our RP's to the CPHforum, so you can read them there and if some aren't finished yet by the time we will move over, you can continue there after registering yourself and your characters
-Is playing there different from our own forum?
Actually no. CPH has their own story and we will have ours, but we will mingle as much as we can. This means our characters can interact with their and vise versa.
It could be that we have 2 different storylines, but with both Holts involved.
They have written some guidelines as to how you RP, although that is meant for firsttime RP-players, it is good to see how they handle things.
