PERSONAL HISTORY AND INFORMATION: About 90 years ago a Wolfrider came to the Frozen mountains near death when the Go-back hunters saw her laying half in a river in the thaw of Spring while out on a hunt. She woke after they took her in caring for her and shared that she was called Softmane. The tribe that found her welcomed her in and she became a member of the Go-Backs. There was turmoil now and then between the local trolls and the Go-Backs. This trouble brought death to the two tribes often. For the Elves of the Go-Back tribe, it brought lustful gatherings in hopes to possibly make more offspring of those that survived the battles between these two warring tribes.
As Softmane integrated into the Go-backs, she befriended one male over the others that was eager to keep her as his main fur mate and bunk mate. He was Zohpa, the great grandson of a stone-shaper, but he, himself had never had the gift or burden of magic in his fingers. He could send and that was the only Magic he would ever do. He and the Wolfrider had many private conversations. Their private closeness grew into a love affair to the point of many tries at offspring. One mid winter came twin boys. One with magic, wolf blood but unable to send, named Moziko the other born a moment after also unable to send, pure blooded and no magic at all, named Anoka.
Growing up the boys had it rough. Magic beyond sending was looked down on by the Chieftain leading then. This brought friction to the small family. Wolfrider pride and mother hood, made Softmane bitter to the Chieftain that seemed to want her and her cubs gone now that they were grown.
Nine years later, the Chieftain had schemed a dark plan involving the tribe. The Trolls would attack, The Ring leader Treehusk, was the one paid in soft furs to talk his cohorts into the odd time for battle. Things were never normal or reliable around the New Chieftain and this was no different till after the battle ended. The Tribe fought hard but the Trolls seemed to be focused on only two Elves and once they were ended...
The fight was over and the Trolls left their dead where they lay, Pillaged what they could then ran off to lick their wounds. This made the Go-backs divided. Some knew of the Treachery most only found out later. none admitted to any misdoings. However, Evidence against the Two lovers was brought to light, but still none would show face or hand in doing the misdeed. This injustice. The crime.
The twins were out hunting and knew nothing till they returned shocked at the news. When they returned they were told what happened, the bodies were burned and that they were banished by majority vote. Those parts were true. The twins packed their things and left and never looked back anger, loss, heartbreak and living in the now as their Dame had showed them was all they focused on as they left.
Revenge was far from their minds. Their Parents would not have smiled on them for such thinking. The Twins had never known anyone to be banished before but they had heard the stories. It broke their hearts to never see some ever again and to forever leave the only home they ever knew, besides the place their Mother had shared in story telling she grew up in far to the south and east.
The Twins knew how to live off the wilderness, and it only been a short while since being banished, New Green was soon to happen, Better hunting in New Green. The Two of them had been traveling a couple of moons, camping and hunting around the southeastern border of the Go-Back's hunting grounds. They had been checking traps when they ran across an old friend they grew up with but had left with his brothers long ago.
They were very pleased to see Skirnir (pronounced SHE-near). ...A few years pass, the two boys and their friend, still on their own and a bit on the wild side, had walked up on a pair of wolves killed in traps and pelts cut away but the meat of them was left to rot in cruelness. Anoka saw Moziko tracking the mother wolf's tracks and fallowed watching his brother's back with Skinir near by.
Keeping an eye on Moziko who was seeing the Mother wolf had circled several times to mislead the unknown beings that killed the wolves. The tracks were not like anything the Twins had ever seen. ((humans with shoes on)) Moziko said he hoped he could find the den in tact. Inside were three sleeping cubs, unharmed. Their Mother had done well to mislead the humans that killed the older members of the Pack. Little was said till he came out of the well hidden den holding three drowsy wolf cubs small in size but no longer needing milk. It would be rather easy to look after them. Moziko gingerly placed the three cubs in a leather shoulder bag and kept moving. They could come up with names later.
Moziko took them all to raise them with his brother, Anoka to help at times and have them help eventually protect the three boys. Finding them was like hearing his Mother's tales of Timmain and Timmorn, her half wolf son who saved the High Ones survive and hunt. The twins felt strongly that the High Ones sent them on this path to find thee wolf cubs for shared protection.
Anoka always fallowing his brother, letting him lead. Moziko took the role of teacher to Anoka as they had to hurry and grow up to survive. Moziko had remembered another story that his Mother told them and shared this story with the other two, that she had known elves to live in the east, where the sun rose and the earth and air was warm with sweet water to drink and bath in. The three boys took a vote and decided, that was where they had to go. It was as good a place as any at this point and with Humans about, they felt it wise to keep on the move and cover their tracks same as that Mother wolf had.
They had passed just north of the range of wild wilderness that J'ayaram had been living in but, he almost never came out in day, so, they missed spotting him or he them by only hours. The three elves fallowed the direction of sunrise till they found another land spine that seemed to be to the south and continued east where they are still heading. They went to seek out a new home. They had traveled two years and 8 months wanting to find some place to settle in and stay. The three Elves knew they needed to make a home and hunt once they found a good place to settle in the new mountains.
This land is Hot at times but up in the shade of the mountains as high as they are the Go-backs find this new land most favorable as well as plentiful. Two months, two months three of them worked at building lodge dens in the natural deep alcoves in the mountain rock and near by below in the Jungle was a lake to swim and fish and a river was near by. Where they were they could see all the way to shore and out to sea to the horizon and no further. This Land had everything they needed. Getting used to the heat and humidity would take some time though. And the flying bugs, heh. Moziko and the other two with him are looking forward to getting a lay of the land and see if anyone else might live here too. (In the New Holt).
